Even thinking about the rest of this month is exhausting. Having two weeks to plan an out of state move as well as 10 days to execute... Well it seemed like enough. And it will be enough. But right now, it seems impossible.
Luckily, I have moved my last day at work up to Wednesday. So I feel a small amount relief. And we got all our travel preparations coordinated last night. U-hauls, flights, rental cars, more U-hauls... it's slightly overwhelming. I found myself wondering what we got ourselves into last night, but it's too late now!
So for now we stop. Tomorrow is our 5 year anniversary and our friends are here and it's our last hoorah in Las Vegas before we go. We can start with the moving manic panic again on Monday. Tomorrow we are partying partying yeah! ( cause it's fun fun fun and we're looking forward to the weekend?)
The master calender I made last night. I had to schedule in sleep and fun just to make sure we get around to doing it.
But not much is quelling my nerves about moving into an apartment sight unseen. The horrors I am imagining... but it can't be much worse then our apartment here.
Last week I was chased by a black widow spider because she noticed me gassing her food supply. It seemed like having my washer dryer outside was great at first. Then the temps went up and my patio was covered in cockroaches and what Chris tried to convince me were crickets but I know are giant hopping albino cockroaches.
When I called him out on that he said, " Well you bought it for a little bit."
For the record I never did.
And a quick google search said that hopping albino cockroaches are a myth to which I say LIES!
LIES! LIES! LIES! They live in the rock "garden" out front and hop onto my patio to terrorize me.
Anyway, don't think I didn't empty that entire can of RAID on the aggressive spider while running back into the apartment. She did run away and back into her hidey hole, with any luck to die and leave me alone.
I'm super off topic now... where was I?
Our war room at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf last night.
Well there will probably be radio silence on the Blog for a while but we will see some of you soon. We are squishing in a brief trip back home to the Northwest before we settle in California.
Wish us luck!
"Party Time! Excellent!" ;)
